"Kids do not feel sad for losing, they feel sad when they think the coach doesn't love or appreciate them." - Pep Guardiola
I bring unrivalled energy, enthusiasm and passion to any program I coach for. Having started coaching at the age of 17, I have been educated by both the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the English Football Association (The FA) before my 20th birthday.
Having started coaching at an incredibly young age and spent the first two years of my career under some of the best coaches of the game, I consider coaching young footballers as something more interpersonal rather than technical. I believe the key to a successful program is to empathise with young people and create an environment where they feel valued and welcomed. A good coach, in my opinion, is not necessarily someone with the best technical knowledge but someone with the right values and portray themselves as approachable, caring and empathic.
My experience is complemented by the range of qualifications I hold: I currently sit the UEFA ‘C’ License – FA Level 2 Coaching Award, hold the FA Youth Awards modules 1 and 2, the USSF National ‘E’ License for ages 9-12, and various other qualifications by state and national associations.
